l Inspiration 2012 l Haute couture collection Fall 2009 l
When final doom has at last been wrought
Evil power had been bought
To feel unending spiteful wrath
Is the vengeful demons epitaph
And Apocalypse shall be spun
The merging of the moon and sun
The union of this fated pair
Will bring about the world despair
Within our moments of demise
We'll gaze upon the crimson skies
Strangled screams above the din
The final straw for a race of sin

That flash of red on the underside is what makes the design, I think. I can imagine someone walking at some elegant party and everyone's enraptured by that single red shock...

So here we go! 
Vision:
"Into the Apocalypse", hm? I thought of a woman who is walking through his life, unknowing that she'll face a brutal truth in her life: The Apocalypse. Great! Dangerous yet mystic, 5 deserved stars!
Originality:
Many people draw the Apocalypse with a destroyed nature or something like this. But you were able to draw a dress which shows the theme. Whoopie!
Technique:
First, the upper part: My first thought was: "What the...? The breat will be compressed in this dress because of those band." But maybe it can be between the breast?
To be honest the middle part is... Well. How can I put this...? I know it's your style, all those quillings, but... They shouldn't be in one color. Yeah, I know, Apocalypse = dangerous and dark = black, but maybe something different? (Oh my... I make demands... I'm so sorry...)
But the lower part is the best because of the little bit red. It' like a warning or a flame which can be seen while walking. I feel they're saying: "Don't go any further! You'll walk right into the Apocalypse!!!"
Every step will show the red again, only a little bit, but I'm sure the whole inner side is firered!
Impact:
If the girl would walk in any direction she can't see the warning, the red inside of the dress. But the others, it doesn't matter if those are friends or fiends, they can warn her. Because of this she should listen to the others. How often do many people say: "If you go any firther this will be your end!!!" And many, many people won't listen to them...

Firstly, thanks kindly for the wonderful comment, you have no idea how much it means to me. It is priceless.
In response to your concern, I actually did think about the discomfort the dress might possibly produce at the bosom. But then again, thinking about the fact that one has to sacrifice to make themselves the most outstandingly fabulous cynosure of all attention in an prestigious event, I continued with my drawing. Plus, if a dress with such weight was not supported by anything, it could fall almost anytime. However, if the aesthetic quality of the dress can be maintained, I would do all I could to make sure that the band is between the breasts or replace it with something else. That's if I had the opportunity to manifest the dress, my wildest thought has apparently gone overboard again.
Anyway, your imagination has once again brightened my day. Just thought of letting you know.
