There were a lot of these trees and indeed, they are looking. It's a bit strange and even a bit scary.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.

Thank you very much, Brigitte.
And indeed, these trees have "eyes", caused by the scars of pruning wounds and fallen branches.

The "eyes" are caused by the scars of pruning wounds and fallen branches. It is remarkable that they all have the exact shape of eyes.
Thank you very much, dear Lawrence.

Very interesting. Two faces there I see. Β
Very good representation for both image and music.
The Last March of the Ents that it is the extended version of the Two Towers, is one of my favorites.
Most especially, the choir singing at the end brings the whole scene it to another level.

Thank you very much, dear Yadi.
It looks a bit like eyes and they are caused by the scars of pruning wounds and fallen branches.
It brings me goosebumps, every time I see and hear it.
Peter Jackson has the books of J.R.R. Tolkien absolutely fantastic interpreted.

Trees with "eyes" ... I sometimes see them when I visit Wendy. There are many gray poplars there.
They are a bit scary. I feel viewed on all sides. Β
The "eyes" are caused by the scars of pruning wounds and fallen branches. It is remarkable that they all have the exact shape of eyes. A beautiful play of nature.
Thank you very much, dear Mel. Β
