I think the atmospheric background goes with the figure's style of dress. I like how you drew the fabric of the jeans.
I'm not sure if this character is supposed to be some kind of giant or not, but he appears very tall compared to the trees. His limbs appear in proportion with his height, though he's a little on the too skinny side. Combined with the long hair, his eyes look kind of feminine.
You could have made him look more masculine by giving him more a square jaw (he pretty much has no jaw at all in the picture.) And maybe some thicker eyebrows.
