Big hurray for the longest Poke fight so far!Ok, my Sis told me that Khail and Akashe are a little too badass here, seeing through the mist and all, so I wanted to tell you that in my head it looked quite logical.... But I admit that I might have failed at showing the reasons.
And so I need to explain myself or I won't be able to sleep tonight! D:
1. Akashe and Khail know each other for a reeeally long time now (more about it in the future) and worked up some tactics so they might have an upper hand in the fights.
2. I've always thought that Fire types should be used to fight while blinded... (going through their own flames, the brightness, roar of flames and all)
3. It's a bit quiet out there so if one knows what kind of sounds he's looking for it's not that hard to locate the target. (I mean that's what I suppose... I've never tried
)4. ... They are both show-offs at times.
So yeah, that's my reasons for what I've done in this part. Sorry if they make no sense, that's the way my brain works sometimes.

Cheren acts like most people do on X-Box Live, after they lose at something. Only thing missisng are the racial slurs, and gratuitous amounts of profanity.

X-Box live is the online mode for the X-Box. If you want to play a game online, that's the service that X-Box uses. So basically you pay for the privilage, of having jackasses you never met, call you racial slurs, homophobic remaraks, and cuss at you, more often than a sailor on shore leave. I'm sure Playstation Network has it's share of the same, but X-Box Live is what everyone points to for the most vile people on earth.

Now I can say that this is another reason for my habit of avoiding playing online.

Look, I'm all for communication across vast distances. As Tool put it in their song Schisim: "Doomed to crumble unless we grow, and strengthen our communication." Basically meaning Humanity is doomed to extinction, unless we grow as a speices, and communicate with our fellow Humans in a healthy way.
That's where online gaming completly fails. I believe your sister pointed out in one of her journal entries that she hids the fact she's Polish in online games, because of how negative the reaction is to people finding that out. That is just a small sample of the closed minded, insensitive, and outright vile people who inhabit online gaming communities. A sespool of jigonistic, racist, homophobs, who have nothing better to do than put others down, in some small penised way of felling supiriorty. If I wanted to hear hate speech, after hate speech, I would attend a Klan rally, or a Nazi convention. When I play games, I do it to relax, and when I do play online, I usually stay quiet. I figure if I don't bother them, they won't bother me. However that's more with a group, rather than one on one sessions. Which I absolutly avoid. So yes, you are wise for avoiding online gaming.

No, no. You got it wrong. It's not them being closed minded. It's just that most of our fellow Polish gamers are brainless brats with a superiority complex. The rest of us usually stay quiet or just prefer to hide that they are from Poland, because otherwise we would simply have to kill each other.

Here I thought it was all the negative shit people like to heap on Poland. For example: "You steal any cars today, you stupid, drunk, Nazi loving Lock? I can't wait for Russia to re-invade your useless country, just so Putin can wipe you asshats off the face of the Earth." Stuff like that. Now I in no way support any of that example, I just took some well known bile, and constructed it into that hate sentence. We'll start from the top. Poland is full of stolen cars aperently. The common steriotype that all polish people are either drunk, or stupid, or both. And the myth that every native Polish person willingly, and excitedly, helped the Nazi regime hunt down any, and all Jews during the occupation. The Russian stuff, has been added, because I have heard many people say that they would love to see the Russians just crush your country like a tin can, and subjegate your whole nation all over again. So you can see why I thought you might want to hide your identity as a Polish native, considering the vast ammount of mouthbreathing cretins who believe the things I used in the example.
Again, and I can't stress this enough, I really don't support any of what that example said. It was just an example, to help illustrate how vile people are toward others, when they aren't in the same room.

Kidding, just kidding. I may laugh at that but it's rather embarrasing... and sad. Because the stereotypes are not so far from the truth. But nevermind.
Anyway I don't really care what the world think about "my people" (I'm not a very patriotic one). They also believe many strange myths and usually can't tell us apart from Russia or any other country from Europe xD (in most cases people don't even know that something like 'Poland" even exist)
Every country has it's own stereotypes about each other so there's no point in sulking over it. Unless you meet the person you can't make any judgement about them. At least that's what I think.

Well I'm not very patriotic when it comes to my homeland either. After all patriotism is what has caused a lot of stereotypes about my nation to exist. That we are war mongers, who would rather invade nations, than learn about them. Most people here in the States just want to live their lives, and go about their own business, rather than concern themselves with another conflict. As for not being able to tell your nation apart from Russia, that's due to the fact that it hasn't been independent long enough, and a lot of Poland's old culture and identity has been lost to foreign influence. I guess you can thank Russia for most of it, because if they didn't drag your nation into the Great Northern War against Sweden, then your people might not have ultimately lost their ability to defend themselves against Prussia, and their so called allies in Russia. Also conversations tend to drift in odd directions, the longer they last.
