Yass, you tell him, Asahi!A very short page, because that quarrel got too long again and it seemed to take forever to finish all at once so... It'll be in two parts (yes, that means I lied, the gym fight will be late (again) and definitely not in the next part... Sorry.)
Trivia:
- Khail usually trains/catches/evolves Pokemon of other members of his gang, since he's basically a walking mana sponge. Asahi, Gavil and some others Mana users in his group aren't too strong Trainers, so for most of the time they leave their Mon in his care. And using one Pokemon means developing some kind of connection to it's mana circuits so previous owners can manipulate theirs ex-pokemon sometimes (just as you somehow remember how to use the old mobile phones even if you didn't have anything other than smartphones in your hands for years). Those strong enough like Gym Leaders ect. also can manipulate others Pokemon if they're touching them and concetrate hard enough.
- So yeah, Khail was stupid enough not to take his Pokemon with him. Mystery solved.
- Asahi's usually that kind of a happy bear-like friend, but he also has a short fuse. He became a bandit for a reason, yo.
- I think I did mention that already, but Asahi is a vice-chief of the Raging Crows. Dunno why Azil doesn't use his title, though.
- The reason why Bronius wasn't a very formidable opponent is that the last time he fought Khail he got out of the battle with far more than a few scratches, so he'll never be in the shape he used to be. Plus he's quite older than Khail, and while the second one got stronger with passing years, it's been a total opposite for the first one.
- Hopefully the constantly changing shading style isn't very visible, I'm just searching for a way to draw those pages faster.

Azil has too much of a "hero worship" to actually say Asahi title. I can understand Asahi frustrations trying to explain to the new guys how and why things are even though there more to the story though I don't think I need to execute some runaways.
Very interesting on how come grunts or lower leveled trainers can still use pokemon even some of the stronger ones as well as make sure they don't think about betraying the owner after level grinding.

I'm glad that someone finally started questioning khails descisions tbh X'D and I'm glad it was asahi but I wonder how his pokemon will react to this new development >w> especially bc it seems that khail doesnt really care of people( or pokemon die) so maybe the team might start questioning him Hmmmmm

but I really didn't expect him to get so angry! I love his reaction, that's definitely pushing him toward the top of my fav characters of your comic!

There't nothing stupid in that question. I've mentioned it a long time ago, and didn't rally pay it any mind after that, so it's not surprising you might not remember. This is one way to use the echanted crystals, a kind of magic (you can think about it just as an average magical item). Mana Users such as Summoners or Trainers can use them by switching them on with their mana. You can find more about it in The Untold: Lore - Mana

Well, they definitely have diffrent ways of getting angry. Khail is more like the cold fury, that would skin you alive with a gentle smile on his smile, while Asahi is just a fury, that would just rip your head off and think thing over when he calms down a bit.

This whole power dynamic among the Raging Crows is really cool to learn about. You can tell that some sort of trust was broken here without the reader really knowing much about the group itself. Very nicely done. (also I didn't notice any shading differences, so do whatever you want to do to make the process easier on yourself).

I've been rather anxious about the whole gangs part in this story, since it's something that has nothing to do with the game (like... half of the things that's going on in this run, I guess), but I also wanted to tell a bit different story than the original Pokemon and show the world where Pokemon are more like an integral part of it, but at the same time not the main part.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense for your comic. And with such a huge amount of nuzlockes, it's nice to see ones like yours that decide to do something different from the game-plot. I also like that despite your comic taking place in a much different world, we aren't given a flood of worldbuilding and text walls. Instead you're pretty good about leading the reader into the story and the world itself in a very natural way. Either way, I'm very curious to see where this is headed and in seeing how Khail will react.

I just have to wonder if he saw that stab coming. (Or if he's just too BA to flinch when threatened) ... Actually now that I think about it... Its probably both. Most likely both since, well, Khail.
I find that unamused look Khail has entirely amusing for some reason. Its like he's saying; "Yup same shit as always." and it's just a normal Tuesday for him. (Or was it a Wednesday? Maybe it was a Friday... Nope it was a Tuesday.)
Before I forget, I don't know if I've said this before; though knowing me I might have. But I love the world that you're building with Mana, crystals, types of trainers, etc. The lore behind it is very thought out and very well planned.
Its very refreshing to see a main protagonist not actually being friends with Bianca and Cheren. Maybe they were once, or they just think they're all friends while Khail physically nopes out of there to do something more entertaining. It brings up the question if he'd ever see them as friends and if they'd eventually get there, if Khail doesn't kill them first, by cracking him open. Unless they've gotten tired of trying that is.

TL : DR:
I love this Nuzlocke and I hope Khail doesn't die. (Dying is bad) I also wonder if Cheren, Bianca and Khail were ever friends and if they would ever be friends if Khail doesn't kill the other two off before anything goes anywhere.

Khail is a character with a bit unclear motivation, so he might be rather confusing at times but I really hope that as the story goes he will get more understndable and likeable. From my side I can only assure you that the story will provide the answers for those questions at some point~

Pssshh totally wouldn't be a story without the protag dying at least once. I mean just look at Homestuck. (So many deaths at once.) Except for like.... One character for some odd reason. But we dont talk about Gamzee >.>

I honestly like Khail already as a character and can't wait to see how he grows out of this "gtf away from me" persona. Speaking of which, I kinda feel is a defense mechanism. I dunno why but it just comes off as such. Was that intentional or am I just trying to read too far into Khail xD
