You know what...? I think that catching a blitzle was the worst thing I could do for that nuzlocke...Zaira gets too much attention while drawing (that's what happens when a horse-holic gets a virtual pony :I )
Some really quick explanation because it's too late for me to be think properly @ - @ :
1. You probably didn't notice but on the information board there was an info about hunting down the herd of wild blitzle. That's what those two guys are talking about.
2. Barriers - it's my idea about the Gym. In order to not blow up the whole building the gym is divided into smaller battle grounds with magical sticks/rods that emits a barriers that absorbs the magic. You can set it so it absorbs only one element, absorbs everything, absrops physical damage, or have some effects like calming down, making something heavier ect ect. Anything you think might come in handy during a training.
3. I don't remember if I've said it already but if I did then I'll repeat myself. Trainers can move their pokemon on their will by controlling the mana in Pokemon's bodies. Something like a puppet. That's why they don't kill their trainers even if there's much hatred between them.
And on the less important notes:

- sorry if I'm not making much sense, my brain fell asleep already as well.
- I need to stop putting in those totally random characters, I have enough of designing them... Someday I'll go back to the random-crowd-characters like in first pages of this comics

Also as for the justification of Khail knocking down a horse on the ground - it's more like a pony than an actual horse (=much lighter) :U
Basically it should be possible to somehow do that. In theory. Kinda... :I (nobody's just stupid enough to try) Or Zaira just tripped.
And since a horse uses it's neck for balance (as any other animal in fact) if you immobilize it the horse will be unable to stand up.
So yeah... It was...kinda...possible...?

Aaand I wouldn't agree, in equestrian sports most of the participants, arbiters, breeders ect. are males, so I think they do understand ;]. In a bit more competitive way maybe, because that's what mostly motivates them, but still.

Whatever makes you happy, and I mean that sincerely. As long as what you like doesn't harm others, we should all find something in life that makes us happy. As for most of the people involved with horses being male, it's due to the fact that horses are big money. and I'm not saying that women can't do those things as good as men can, but theirs a reason sexisim exists. Not to mention that for the longest time, finances, and economy was handled by men, and men alone. I'm sure competition plays a role as well but money makes the world go around.

To be honest, I didn't expect that. I was sure you'd say something like it's because "they're big" or "it's a hard work" but... money? Really? There are people that still believes that myth? and I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just surprised... I assure you that most of the people involved with horses have a rather hard financial situation - with some exceptions of course, and it seems that those exceptions make people think otherwise. At least that's how it looks like here, but from what I know it's quite similar in the whole world.

I don't know, I mean having one horse is a lot of money. If you live in a city, and have a horse, the average cost in my country is $1200-$2500 in one month. The cost drops to $400-$500 a month in rural areas. So let's just do the math, in both urban and rural areas. So in a city it costs $30000 in one year on the high end, and $!4400 on the low end. For owning one horse in the country it costs $6000 on the high end, and $4800 on the low. Compare that with the average cost of owning one car for a year which is $9122 and yeah, it's better to own a car. Obviously the economy of nations varies, and I'm not sure how it is in Poland, but those are the figures for the United States. It's just that people who own horses in my country are usually rich, and they are eccentric to say the least. It's actually amazing how much money, people will drop on a horse in my country. I'm sure there are working class citizens in my country that have a horse, but it's just seen as a luxury, and one most people can do without over here.

Hm, yeah, again - I don't want to be mean but that's just a point of view of someone who doesn't have much to do with the subject in practice. Numbers taken from websites... well, they won't tell you much. You're talking just about amatours having a horse for their own pleasure - not making a living from that. It looks the same everywhere but I'd rather stop here, unless you wish to discuss the matter by notes. Sorry but I don't think this is the best place for this kind of conversation.

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm starting to notice some patterns here *puts on conspiracy glasses*
1) Back right before Khail caught Zaira, Khail got pale and had what appeared to be a flashback of an ancient battle. If my guess was correct, then Khail was at the place where the battle happened - a graveyard if you will.
2) Khail gets all pale here in the museum, which just so happens to have a Dragonite skeleton as its main display.
So it would seem that Khail gets all pale and scary while around dead things or places where people/pokemon have died. Why? Who knows, but I have a sinking suspicion that mana (dark/death mana?), or maybe even Reshiram/Zekrom have some connection to it~
