This part took far too long to make than I thought... I have enough. I wanna sleep... So in short- Zzzzzzzzzz.....-* Pokemon can useΒ only mana coming from natural rifts and their surroundings. They can't use the energy stored in enchanted crystals, Guardian Crystals or from places like the one Lenora mentioned.Β Ecology, yo.
- Some of Team Plasma's guy might be dead...
- that strange monument is just a memento of the battle. It looked too plain so I've added some writings. They have no meaning, in case you wondered
- Burgh thinks he can be a dark character too, pffff
- No, Khail didn't try to burn down the whole forest.

Have you ever played the Dragon Age series? All this talk of rifts, other dimensions, magic, and demonic/corrupted Pokemon reminds a lot about the game's own lore.

I wanted to give some sense to the whole "we'll steal your skull and run to the forest, because it's an awesome plan" -thing.
Yeah, I've played all of them. But to be honest, I don't really see much in common between those and my story. Maybe the sole idea of naming mine rifts as Rifts... But well, maybe it's just an author's point of few : P
I'm not a big fan of the DA Inquisition btw. I loved first DA for awesome characters and to be honest with every new game they became more and more boring and plain... Sob

Really? The way your Pokemon work reminds me of the spirits and demons of the Fade in DA. But I suppose the fantasy setting also made me think of it XD
That's ok, I'm not the biggest fan of Inquisition either, although I'm heads over heels over the first one. Honestly, aside from Origins, I haven't found very many RPGs with as intriguing a story as that game. It's a shame the sequels stunk, if only they didn't throw away the whole Grey Warden/Darkspawn plot

Exactly. Origins were the first game I've played more than once time after time even though I knew the story already. It was so good...
But it often ends like that. Same goes for Assassin's Creed. First 2-3 games were really good, and then UbisoftΒ probably forgot what they even wanted to do and just threw new games at us to get some money... A pity.

I know, right? It's like the developers ask themselves "hm, what was it about our games that players liked so much? The story, characters, and choices? Nah, let's just update the gameplay, make it prettier, slap in some bland characters, make your decisions meaningless, get drunk while we write the plot, and stick ya in a new location. What could go wrong?"
Oh yeah, don't forget the dlc that costs an arm and a leg just to finish the story XD

Burgh...Burgh...He has a Fire Type. Even in Challenge Mode, you ain't a Challenge.
Seriously though, never had trouble with Burgh, the Triplets, or Elesa. Lenora and Clay on the other hand! Good Lord! Skyla, Bricen, and Drayden were iffy, depending on what was going on.
But Burgh, I don't foreseen any trouble.
