Description
This is an illustration I painted for STAR WARS: X-Wing, TIE Phantom Expansion Pack.I like the design of the TIE Phantom a lot! I think it's pretty cool. It's also lethal and dangerous looking, so I wanted to capture that aggressiveness in my composition as it comes out of cloak

This art is excellent. I love flying Phantoms in X-Wing Miniatures, and the card art makes them look so dangerous. You did an amazing job bringing these ships to life.

Thank you! This along with, Shadow Squadron Pilot, were my fist X-Wing cards to illustrate. Mostly worked on X-Wing and Armada since lol

It was the first game I played with FMV. In fact it probably has some of the best quality FMV cutscenes of the time.

Yeah, card illustration is tricky sometimes. This is profile shot, so only TIE Phantom required.

It does look pretty aggressive coming out of cloak, it's the only emotion you can bring out with the TIE series in my opinion.

Man I miss the Rebel Assault Games, for DOS and Win95 games they were pretty freaking awesome, I need to find the game discs somewhere and see if Win7's compatibility mode can even run them. (It has a real problem with KotOR which was made for XP so I don't have high hopes)

It sucks neither Rogue Squadron, or Rebel Assault seem to work on 64 bit versions of Win 7, they seem to have figured out how to get the steam version of Dark Forces to work on it.
