Even as she sinks into the abyss she seems to be feeling more regret than fear.* It's painful to see her succumbing to the overwhelming pressure and pain that has surrounded her for too long. Those last few bubbles hurt my heart as much as hers.
You did a gorgeous job on her form, so soft and pretty, even making her textures work beautifully underwater β her mane and tail being spectacular in how they retain their magical properties while also billowing gently as she sinks. The lighting is fantastic, the shaft of sunlight creating a soft glow and shadows that give her even better depth, plus the metal effects look fantastic. The sparse bits of plankton filling in for stars and sandy bottom plus the sunbeam above frame her nicely too. Thanks for sharing.
