Aka battle you can't ever thought to see. I think in my opinion then Ruby couldn't stand a chance against Vergil. He is really strong and nothing compare to what she did have face in the past. And how deadly he is, we know then she might die against him. And also, he is far more experimented then him. I means, he is an half-demon after all.
(Spoiler, I actually won that battle as Ruby like f*ck the logic)
