UPDATE: Since I learnt how to add in backgrounds and good lighting in XNALara, I reshot the image so I could reload a better version of Lightning and Pals. I also finally fixed Lightning's belt
Decided to make a picture of Lightning and her allies in FFXIII. I strengthened some of the personality traits of her allies, like Hope being fairly insecure, Fang's tendency to be agressive at times and Snow's happy-go-lucky personality, but kept Lightning relatively the same since I thought it'd be a funny picture.
I might update this picture another time with more characters, such as Team NORA, Serah and Noel, as it would be fun to add even more of Lightning's "pals" into the picture haha.

The only reason Lightning lashed out at everyone so much in FF13 is because she missed them, notice she doesn't hit anyone when they're around?

So there are control nobes on each joint? Or did you have to add them?

No I didn't add any, I wouldn't have a clue how to do that haha. There's like 3 different joints for each thumb (and finger by extension) so I had to rotate and move them around to get the thumb straightened and facing the right direction.

The technical side of moving the thumbs sounds kind of funny. I'm not sure if I asked this but which program did you manipulate the models in?

I used a program called XNALara, I suggest giving it a try if you're interested in model posing. It's completely free and pretty easy to learn.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it does, I only did print screen for mine since I didn't want to do a massive picture but I've seen other people's XNALARA pictures and they're a lot bigger than mine.

I hear XNLara's popular. Does it let you animate the models and/or export pictures of them in high quality?

Lol messed up my reply, accidentally replied to myself. Anyway now I know for certain you can make them in larger quality than mine, I took a look at the XNALara tutorial and there's a Save Image option which lets you save the image at a size of up to 800% and at the best quality. You can either save them as JPG or PNG.

That's happened to me on several ocassions ~haha. Thank you for clarifying about the image sizes. Also, I'm curious if there's a general database or site where I can find the FFXIII or FFXIII-2 character models.

I've found pretty much all of the character models on Deviantart through the group Xnalara-Customised [link] There's a bunch of other models from other games and pictures by other people. Any model I didn't find on deviantart I found using Google, I think I've written down who made the models at the bottom of my xnalara pictures. Looking forward to seeing what you make with it

She actually looked even more so originally lol. Something glitched with her teeth so it looked like she had several teeth punched out, you can still see it a little bit in the picture. Thought it would be kind of mean to completely mess Vanille up though lol, so I toned down the crazy a little bit.
