I like them too. I initially thought Squall was whiner in FF8 until his character development and backstory, i could somewhat relate to him

I didn't like Cid Krames that much, maybe because he was pretty much useless old geezer like "I can't control the ship, Squall you do it for me" Yeah, like Squall knows any better how to fly Garden which he has controlled before

He might be the worst Cid in the series XD. and oddly resembles Robin Williams. Other characters were meh to me, Squall and Rinoa seemed to get more focus and development than other character

In the end I'm Happy Tidus and the others finally rescue her and that its all just her act to do the "sending" on him though..

Yeah even Sephiroth was better than Seymour. IMO Seymour doesn't seem to have real reason to be villain other than because he can and "I will save Spira's sorrow by killing everyone and become next Sin". Not mention he is obvious bad guy when we first time see him, even Tidus lampshades this.
