In our timeline: The Storming of the Bastille occurred in Paris, France, on 14 July 1789, when revolutionary insurgents attempted to storm and seize control of the medieval armoury, fortress and political prison known as the Bastille. After considerable fighting, the governor of the fortress allowed the insurgents to enter the Bastille. Contrary to what had been agreed, the insurgents killed the governor. The Bastille then represented royal authority in the center of Paris. The prison contained only seven inmates at the time of its storming and was already scheduled for demolition, but was seen by the revolutionaries as a symbol of the monarchy's abuse of power. Its fall was the flashpoint of the French Revolution.

In France, 14 July is a national holiday called Fête nationale française which commemorates both the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille and the Fête de la Fédération which occurred on its first anniversary in 1790. In English this holiday is commonly referred to as Bastille Day.

During the reign of Louis XVI, France faced a major economic crisis, which was caused in part by the cost of intervening in the American Revolution and exacerbated by regressive taxes, as well as poor harvests in the late 1780s, this ultimately ended in the execution of the French royalty marking the beginning of the first French Republic, later came the Napoleonic Wars which had a major role in promoting French revolutionary ideals through Europe such as Liberty freedom from oppressive monarchies, Equality, Fraternity, Popular sovereignty, Constitutionalism, Natural rights ,Anti-clericalism.

However in this Alternative timeline things developed differently, in 1763 after the French defeat in 7 years war and the handover of most North American territories to the British Empire as well several other possessions to the British, in this timeline Lois XVI instead investing resources in the American independence, stabilized the economy, rebuilt its broken navy, strengthened his power, lowered the power taken by the church, the bourgeoisie and other nobility consolidating, strengthened its army and focused in raising production, better trade, conquer important Mediterranean ports.
In this timeline Lois XVI took and recreated the trading system making a complete absolutist state above religion, nobility and cleric as it was the only possible way to easy the expenditures of the decaying French Kingdom.

The rest is all the continuation of this timeline, Spain lost several wars to France losing several territories and colonies yet expanding its power to the pacific, France absorbed the catholic church broke the catholic impositions and turned the Borbon family the ruling family upon both orthodox and protestants, Austrian Habsburgs eventually lost their power to the French Borbon as well Russian Tsars and Great Britain .

This is a timeline in which instead French Revolutionary ideals the world was taken by Royalist Absolutism, instead Liberty the world was granted Serfdom, Class Division and Royal Privilege.

Among the classes that government this World there are the Cleric (each state give them different benefits), the Nobility (low rank royals, former royal families, bastards)
The Royals, made up by the monarch and its direct family
The Bourgeoisie , simple peasants that got rich and with that the opportunity to become nobility with money
The Peasantry, simple people.
The Second class (colonialism).
The Third class (colonialism).

Without the Napoleonic wars and with the complete stability of the French Kingdom , European fronters shifted in order to benefit the powerful kingdoms from 18th century,
The world similar to America was completely taken by Europe and entire society shifted similar to darkest plans the nazi envisioned

As an example we can take a look in the British Empire of this alternative timeline, without the American independence the British empire was twice as powerful and better capable to capture their objectives, in this case the Indies . Great Britain greatly enriched a small class of white colonialist that would grow to 25% of the Indies ethnics, enriched in a much lesser degree the second class made up of white immigrants mostly Russian in this case, and assimilated and partially white, the third class was made up non white and non assimilated. Every possibility in life was granted at birth , by economic power or by church affiliation.

British India became the new Jowell of the British crown a society that every ethnic British was as rich as the greatest Russian millionaires in this timeline, a reason why in this timeline Russia lost most its population (within every ethnicity and belief) to the rival as well land that had to be sold in order to resist the economic pressure of British growth in Central Asia.

China ceased to exist after this alternative timeline Spain seized control over the Pacific and Chinese coast. As Spain grew to big they faced the attack of other European Nations and coalitions forcing them to divide their territorial domains, different from France and Britain industrialization was not as great.

In this world nations growing to big without hegemonic royal ties or technological advancement could cost everything as it costed to the Ottomans in this timeline while facing Europe of this alternative timeline organized in strong coalitions, therefore wars among nations were not as great as in our timeline.
