Description
Hi everyone! I'm finally able to paint after a 20 hours long train ride. Let's go!Today we're looking at the villages near the giant old fallen tree full of mushrooms.
In the latest hundreds of years strange things started to overcome the mushroom capes, coming out of nowhere. Some people think that this is a powerful black magic curse, others believe that this is just a natural parasite. Nobody knows the truth, so this world is wating for a hero who can solve this mystery!

A daily deviation? that is a bit suprising, but the concept is good and interestin, the colours too, it has all required for one outside polish.Β your "quiet hideout" deserved one more than this, eitherway keep it up i like your art (sorry for the criticism).

It's so cool how the mushrooms look like they're glowing! And that fallen tree in the back has such a great texture. Really nice. ^_^

A mushroom mystery~ It can only be solved with the help of Shroomlock Holmes! Another amazing work; I really like seeing how a population would fit into the magical worlds you create.

Shroomlock Holmes and Dr. Fungson would fit in this world perfectly

oh cool, love that you did the small town! also enjoyed the small story that goes with it, makes the entire world come to life in my head!
I love the colours, also the way you have the background, mid ground, and fore ground! I need to work on that! Your stuff always reminds me of things I need to work on because you do them so well!

Thanks slowingsky! The clear disctinction between different parts of the image is very important for the depth, so it's good to focus on that!
And you definitely can improveΒ while workingΒ with the books you have =]

Gosh those mushrooms are really huge and that fallen tree trunk too. How many years does it take to grow up to that size?
But what are those slimy thing dripping on the mushrooms? I just hope that the animals there are not as huge otherwise those guys will have tough time unless they know how to defend themselves.^^
Brilliant painting and thanks, now I can picture the scale of your landscape. It's mindboggling!^^

Thanks for a nice comment! I believe most of the animals are of normal size. And this scale is not that big, if you look at some of the previous pictures and zoom in, youΒ wil see a small village =]

Ah yes, I can see those tiny little villages now. Have to zoom in my phone but that's one huge scale for sure.
