This 14 inch raku jar is another in the series that I just recently fired. I was able to capture this maple in the glaze pattern. I really like the copper and blue contrast .... a foreign color when one thinks of maple leaves.Related content

Another TOTAL beauty. The colours are absolutely amazing. This one and the last one are really my favorites, I just want to eat them! (not literally, don't worry, that would give me more stones I bet). Divine.
Gald to know that the people are now buying, sad to know that these heavenly jars are not going to be the pride of place in my house!

Wow... beautiful. Amazing color and "textures".
Did you get that maple leaf shape from painting the glaze over it, or did it just get stuck on and burn that way? Or maybe something else..I'm not too knowledged in pottery work.
