βSmoothβ is just to cap the intensity to avoid it going to infinity as you get very close to the light. Setting this to a very high value becomes equivalent to choosing a βconstantβ falloff.
βLinearβ falloff is quite useful for making the lighting more uniform without having to add more lights. Itβs a cheat, but so is a lot of 3D.

hi i created comparison of Light Falloff (here ) and i think that 4 this scene is better quadrical setting, but i still thx for impulse to create this comparation.
