Dai eyed!Tiger Ranger slashed the air with his Saba dagger, trying to hit an evil object that were attacking him. It didn’t work, instead the enemy able to cut his suit one many parts. Sparks flew and blood dripped in some places. The Tiger was subdued as he kneeled to hold the pain.
But he wouldn’t be given any chance to fight again. The object―an evil, monster eye-shaped parasite―hit his helmet and attached itself to it. The hero tried to remove it with all his strength, but strange tentacles started to spread and constrict his body, while the acidic slime formed started to break the surface of the suit. Tiger Ranger let out a scream of pain when his skin touched the evil substance.
The tentacles on his chest pushed hard, making the hero gasped for air. The eye-mask used that advantage to gagged him with the main tentacles. Tiger Ranger struggled more, but to no avail. He could only kneeled there, helpless against this small but diabolical mask that was slowly taking over his body.
He could still see through the “eye” and thus able to watch the horrible truth Dora Argus―known in MMPR as EyeGuy― revealed in front of him. The monster showed a row of captured Dairangers, one of them was DaiRed. All of them suffered the same fate as the sixth Ranger, even worse.
the Dairangers’ suits was filled with patterns of the evil golden eyes, signifying the totality of their infection. They could only moaned and groaned as their mouth continued to be gagged and their brain invaded by the mind-destroying slime. Tiger Ranger could see the flow of a bulk of those slime through their throat.
They didn’t recognize him anymore. They didn’t even recognized each other. DaiRed forgot of his duty as team leader and now trapped within a strange and impossible nightmare world.
Tiger Ranger noticed something: DaiBlue and DaiPink weren’t there. But his optimism abruptly ended by the monster, “You think your friends able to escape my domination?”
From the shadows, two figures entered the scene. They were once Blue and Pink Rangers, but the eye-mask had assimilated them into EyeServants. Their suits had dissolved, replaced by a new one made from the slimes with colors matching their original ones. Black patterns of choke-collars and restrainer were the symbols of Eye-Guy’s slavery over them.
“We serve our Eye-Master. We serve our Eye-Master...”
They held the Tiger Ranger so he wouldn’t move too much as the tentacle pumped more and more slime until his mind dissolved into blankness.

Well for starters, how can I write torture as a method of character development, make it look as revolting as possible.

Oh, do you want the character (is it a Ranger?) to give up to the torture or survive?

A mixture of the two-he survives, but is consumed by a lust for revenge that he turns to a revived Lord Zedd for a faustian deal of revenge for his dead lover.

Well, how about he went after his friends?
The survivor thinks they were the once responsible for the death of his lover
That they let him to be tortured, abandoning him for sometime just to make fun of him
Of course, this is just in his mind
But it doesn't matter, since he was consumed by vengeance
He starts to lure his friends into trap one by one
Maybe he can turn his friends into mindless drone, who are more loyal and reliable than their earlier form
With them, he strike vengeance at the (monster?) Who tortured him in the first place
With this defeated, he would sit at the throne of evil, surrounded by his loyal minion drones that were once his best friends
