Starfleet Rangers in peril!

A while ago, someone requested me to do a slavery art on some Starfleet officers. I told him I couldn’t do that, so I suggest a hybrid Star Trek-Power Rangers heroes. He refused, but the concept already got into my mind. So here goes.

In an alternate future, the Starfleet of the United Federation of Planets were recruiting young cadets into a new program to be the newest Power Rangers. Five were selected, and they immediately went to do their first mission: a distress call by a ship in a remote asteroid belt.

To make the story short, when they got there, the Rangers’ starship was attacked by something alien. It looked like a giant shiny purple ball which sprouting roots all over the ship. The Starfleet Rangers didn’t have any choice but to bail to the nearest asteroid. Turned out it was a VERY bad decision.

As scouts, Blue and Yellow gone first to survey the landing area. When they explored the rock, Yellow encountered a strange purple flower-like structure. She was dazzled by it, like hypnotized into walking even closer to it. Closer, closer, closer, until...

A scream was heard on Blue’s com channel, making him rushed into his teammate’s location. He was stunned to see Yellow already engulfed inside the flower, unable to move. Her mouthguard was penetrated by a vein which pumping strange slime, corrupting her mind the longer she stayed inside. Blue sent the emergency signal to the remaining Rangers and sped to rescue her. He didn’t know that another plant already got its petals on him.

Green and Red were captured by the same monster which trapped their friends. Green tried to access his com channel by screaming, but the veins already penetrated his helmet. He opened his mouth wide to scream, but instead the slime got in. Once it in, he could never closed his mouth. He struggled but the flowers strangled his body and pulling him into the purple balloon.

Red was terrified to what happened to Blue and Yellow, but he was more terrified to think of his and Green’s fate. He pulled his arms frantically, but the veins grabbed them and pulling it back. His palms are trapped inside a latex-like ballon, making him completely unable to grabbed anything to prevent his capture. He screamed before the veins choked the air on the neck. Hopefully it would reach to White Ranger.

As the screams died, the four Rangers stared at the edgeless space, desparation turned into inhumane joy as they accepted their new fate as fruits of the infamous Space Plant!
