The Rangers are turned into nutritious tubers!

When a legend of haunted forest just outside of the city became real, the Ninja Storm Rangers quickly went to investigate. There are reports of missing teenagers on the area, with an increasing rate, indicating the presence of a new monster.

The Wind Rangers arrived at the scene of latest attack and immediately felt something was wrong there. The forest was unusually dark even with not so many trees around. A strange fog loomed to all direction. They tried to contact the others, but their communicators suddenly began to malfunction. They’re own their own on that cursed place, and that would bring their demise.

Out of nowhere, thick, slimy pink tentacles sprung out and grabbed the Rangers. They tried to free themselves but the sticky slimes made it too hard for them to even move. The heroes found the source of this, a monstrous tree complete with a gaping maw and horrifying red eyes. But that was all they could identify of their captors, as they were dragged into holes on the trunks.

The Rangers were dragged all the way to underground, to the root part of the monster. The slimes engulfed their body and slowly transformed into wood-like material. Only their heads were free from this terrible effect, with necks choked by a thick collar of pink slime, endlessly draining their energy. But that wasn’t enough.

New roots grew from the main one before launching pink hoses on the Rangers’ mouthpiece. They were forced to open their mouths before a bulk of goo started to be pumped into it. They struggled of course, but that’s not for long as the goo drained their remaining energy until only their eyes were capable of moving. The rest painfully began to fall on the monster’s control by parasitic pink mushrooms that sprung all over. With their body solidified into new tubers and their heads immobilized, they could only hope that the Thunder Rangers would come and save them.

But even the strong heroes are helpless against such camouflaged enemy. They too fell into the monster’s slimy traps. Crimson Ranger’s hand was free, but the sheer force of pulling by tentacles was undefeatable. Soon, they would join their teammates surrounding their master’s roots, filled with pink goo. And like the Yellow Ranger, totally obedient to its will!
