About time I gave this girl some upgrades! I really fell in love with Thea's easy and simple design, that I really didn't want to add anything to it. But I like these new ones for her very much!-----------

What do you mean by lighting? On the glowing image?
I used the pink form Thea's ears to create the glow on a new layer. The glow itself is a mixture of the options "overlay" and "add" and then using a gaussian blur to make it look like it was casting a light source.After that I place a layer above the flat image but beneath the glow. I colored it a very dark purple, then erased the areas affected by the glowing light source. Once that was done I lowered the opacity and put a darker background around it for emphasis.
