Finally time for some shots of my lady Clint because goodness I've been keeping this a secret for so long and am so excited to finally share it!

So yeah, Clint is mah boy. I love Clint. After finally seeing The Avengers almost a year after its release (don’t ask me how it took me so long), I wanted to cosplay from it, but didn’t know who I’d want to be. After thinking about it a bit after, I eventually came to think “how about Hawkeye?” I really liked the tension of his character arc (I know I’m probably the only one ever to have that opinion). So after seeing the movie again (… And again and again after that) I was sold, and from there he has proceeded to become my favourite superhero.

When deciding to do Avengers cosplay, the immediate route was to do a genderbend. The experience I have crossplaying has only ever been with little boys, or teenage anime boys, since they still have a bit of a feminine edge to them. Therefore the idea of trying to be a full-grown male, not to mention one who has been played by an actual man didn’t sit well with me. But of course, as it turned out, the idea of doing the full-on male version grew on me over the months leading up to this cosplay, so when time came to do the genderbend cosplay, I was totally keen to do the male version, but the plan was already to do genderbends with my group. That being said, I plan on cosplaying Clint’s male version within the next year. >w<

Anyway, SO happy with how all this came out, despite the hectic lead-up (because guys, MARVEL COSPLAY = PAIN NO MATTER WHO YOU CHOOSE). But my friends and I had an amazing time with our genderbent Avengers group at C&E, everything came together perfectly just in the nick of time and our cosplays were really well received! Plus making Avengers references together throughout the day was pretty epic. XD
