Hey, I came here because you faved my Grey Warden costume, then I saw this and my eyes went O.o! I can see that it's maille of some kind but it's not the same as the scales I used - what is it? And if it's metal, how much does that outfit weigh? This is awesome, by the way.

These are small Ringlord scales (alumniium and stainless steel on top) connected by small split rings. My total armour, including Helmet and shoulder plating weight approximately 10 kilo

Good to know, thanks. The difference must be in the split rings - I used plain ones. And 10 kilos isn't that bad either - sounds like aluminium is a good idea!
