Okay, now to the description of what in the world is going on, here. It's an alternate universe that Gwen and Kevin have landed in thanks to some alien device that tured itself on (and hurled them into another universe). The best way I can describe it is if you are aware of Harry Potter verse, think the Time Tuner but with the capability to skip into other dimensions. They showed up to find a 13-year-old Ben with his omnitrix timing out while a building is ablaze, aliens are attacking/eating everything in sight, and a 13-year-old Gwen is dangling from the top of the building. Panicked, Ben tries to get the omnitrix to power up, again. But, it doesn't work.

For a moment, Gwen and Kevin stare up at the younger Gwen when they see the 14-year-old Kevin of the current universe appear (in the mutated form). This makes Ben scream out to Gwen in fear that Kevin is going to finish her off.

Now, a little info on the aliens swarming the buildings. They are inspired by the Langoliers (a Stephen King novella as well as a tv miniseries) in the fact that they eat basically everything. The way I see it, they escaped the Null Void, just like Kevin. The only thing that effectively kills them is fire.

I am considering writing something for this idea, but we'll see how that goes.

Even cheating by using photos in the bg, I like this. It's a decent representation of what I see in my head.
