Here in your work one approach toward the art seems to be having a conversation with the other approach , conseptual standing at the opposition of expression , such is the abstract politics

hehe
I watched a documentary yesterday about synaesthesia. A well known psychologist was examining the prevalence of this disorder with artists and poets and said 'It is the artist's job to choose what feels right'.
That's all I was trying to do.
Glad you like it.

i just read about it, i did not even know it existed (what an ignorant i am )
even as a viewer, i almost always react in the same way: what feels right.

how surprising to know such thing exist in a normal life of normal people.
can be seen as an added richness to their life, but also as a handicap, in a way.
for an artist, a very original point of view.

With every new work you make, it will be with this knowledge. I'd love to know if that would change anything.

As I said, I think we all have it to an extent. Smells remind us of things. The images people submit here make you think of words... These are connections. Its not a condition at its most basic state, its human.

in either way, we don't have to know it's there for it to be working, no?

That's right. We don't understand most of what goes on in our brains, yet it still works to an extent.
I am currently under the impression that everything we do, think, feel, know and have done to us irreversibly changes who we are and where we go. I'd be interested in trying to examine this from someone's work, but that would be impossible.

oh, examine would be possible, understand it is a whole different thing.
even for your own.
but i think we keep doing it. trying at least.
VERY interesting it still goes on and on when you'r older. that is a thing you never imagined before

Ah good point about examine!
Lots of artists have used art as an examination of the self. I think that to an extent, you do too don't you?
Being a child, you think adulthood will bring all the answers to life's questions. It doesn't bring them, you have to start finding answers. And those are just the ones which can be answered!

i surely do.
sometimes i wonder if it's the only thing i do. ( i would be ashamed of admitting it)
and given more time in this "adultness" thing (like a few tens of years) you start to wonder if it's worth ALL that time that you spend searching, and if it's not better to relax a little

The scalpel was my main tool.
Glad you like it, I'm relatively inexperienced working like this.

There's certainly something aggressive at work.
