incredibly overboard with the editing. This is one of my older pieces, so I think I'll redo it, but thanks mate.

I get embarrased looking at my old works. Then again, I'll feel that way soon about my stuff I'm uploading atm

Sometimes its nice though to go over what you first submitted. Five months ago I was simply atrocious. I can look back and think that this site, and the people here have helped me so much.

I've taken several huge breaks, and each time, it's like learning afresh. Awful stuff at first, then maybe one or two good per time...slowly increasing. At the moment just getting out of the awful stuff phase

Well... that is quite a different take on the stereotypical apple. I love how the bright red just pops out at you and the edges are darker giving it a very slight edge that makes me think "hmm I didn't know apples fell into the macabre category". Haha beautiful shot by the way.

I really like the composition on this. At first, I thought it was melting! But now I just see that it's water haha.
Great work catching the color and texture.

I wonder if they have apple boredom jeans they'd be less exploitative. Nice color and contrast.

Not too crappy. ;D
I would suggest on not saturating the red too much, if you already have the flash or a long shutter speed. I'd suggest not doing it against metal or glass either, or really close up because it creates a reflective glare (see the white halo around the apple?). Unless you were going for that effect.
It's still an interesting concept.

Really nice concept. The water details are awesome but I think the red in the apple is a little too strong. Maybe it could use a little desaturation...but a great shot none the less.
