For some reason i quite like this. Critique anyone?
my first christmas deviation
actually: lets have a quick talk about this festive season. Ever since, at the age of six, I discovered that my parents had been lying to me about Santa, christmas just became one of those "a man did a thing" kind of holidays. Don't get me wrong, I love watching crap films in a 30°Celcius heated room with snow coming down, but I personally think its overated. As an atheist, I don't think I'll ever be part of "Jesus' b-day" movement, and as someone with a mad family who all decided to live as far away as possible from each others (cousins live in Greece, South Africa, England, USA, Ireland, Liverpool () ) I never really captured the "it brings the family together" hollywood aspect. Actually, come to think about, overated is probably the wrong word. Although I'm too young and inexperienced to be nostalgic, I would define Christmas as "too commercialised". For all you religious people out there, shouldn't you stop worrying about a fat bearded man who was invented by the Coca Cola company, and start concentrating... actually im a bit bored now.
