The first picture I took with my new "will be a backup" camera, my mothers Casio QV 4000. curlIncredibly old, however it's the first time I have complete control over an image. Note the fact that everything is just about in focus
So what do you think. Should I have made it lighter? darker? lower aperture? different composition?

In my opinion its fine just the way it is. Making it lighter would take away from the picture's overall sense of simplicity.

This pic's one of the many architectural shots i saw with a very unique composition. Love the strong shape, no doubt!
I just don't really like the purplish feel..(my opinion..) ..just felt more "cold" with just the blue..

Because you have such a strong shape in it, the exposure doesn't matter much. You could make it a complete silhouette, or give it a texture by exposing '

I like this. It's really good.
There's two white spots that look like stuck pixels...It's kind of hard to point out where they are. I didn't see it until I zoomed in.
