I don't know what's lurking in that old eyepatch. What film was that from Hanan? The Goonies?

Mix everything and it doesn't count as plagirism, it's called good research.

Not if you need to research the effect of b in general form on logarithmic and negative exponential graphs, and explain the concept of hydrogen fuel cells, or memorize page 11 of "All quiet on the western front". I have learnt so much nonsense in all my 16 years of life and haven't been inspired by any of it.
Ok, that's enough ranting.

we are talking of totally different things.
( you reminded me of my son , the oldest, always the same rantings )
i was referring to the well known saying that states that the difference between a good and a bad artist is that the good one hides where he got his inspiration from..
poor Alex, being sixteen is so hard, i haven't forgotten yet.
...but wait until you're 40

I know we are.
40 is an easy time though, in relation to 16. Mid life crisis' are so much easier to bear as they just involve forming a band, or buying a motorbike, from a western male perspective anyway.
I haven't heard that quote before. Surely it would be the other way around? Oh well, just another thing to get angry and argumentative about. Perhaps the quoted means hide in a practical manner. The metaphysical, it's all at the deep end and I'm out of my depth.

it is meant in a ironical way. i should have said a "successful" artist.
i repeat, wait for the 40's..
but it's sure easier for men, occidental or anywhere.
