Here is a semi-redo of my piece from way back when, inspired by the battle you have with Mewtwo in Pokemon Stadium!Look how far we've come:

It would be awesome if they made something like a parallel universe where Mewtwo uses stolen human technology along with Mew genes to create more Mewtwo's and take over the world. Finally, what would seem like an extraterrestrial planet with a different species and society, would turn out to be Earth dominated by the "Mewtwo" species that live and prosper in their new world. Humans being only an ancient primitive civilization, and the all mighty Mewtwo whose "myth" still lives.

Ugh, the pain of trying to beat the R2 version of this fight. Thank god I wasn't one of those poor fools stuck using only rentals, but still ._. I think you've captured the mood of that arena really well, especially with how abstract the original is.

Thanks! I've always thought the fight was interesting because the stage is really tranquil and the music has a dream-like quality to it, which really contrasts with Mewtwo's character
