Competition Entry for
'Be Late For Something'
Story:
The Mecha Pilot lit another cigga-rollo and glanced at the time.
"Guess to be late for something... might as well be for an Invasion," the Mecha Pilot spat out at the vox-comm.
Silence...
Then the Vox-comm crackled and a message came through... "They're here! Mecha Squads get ready for pick up!"
Annoyed, she stubbed her cigga-rollo and tossed it out of her cockpit. Flipping the switch to close the hatch she muttered under her breath, "Hell. It's about time!"
