Lately, I've been revisiting my OC for 'Help! I'm a Fish'. (www.deviantart.com/aotearoa-ge… ) Looking back at the art I made for her, I realized that it's not really my best work. For one, her design was really, really plain; so I felt the need to give it a few small tweaks. Giving her some tiny accessories in purple made all the difference, she just needed more colour. Unfortunately, I didn't retain the freckles from her original design. As cute as they were, they just didn't feel right anymore. They just made her face look cluttered.

I also added a proper design for her fish form. Initially, I drew it in a semi-realistic way because my initial idea for her story was that she started out as a non-sentient fish who suddenly turns human from the antidote. But as I thought through it more, it didn't really jive with me. So now she starts out as a sentient fish who was accidentally given even more antidote resulting in becoming fully human but with the downside of amnesia. Obviously, there'll be more details revealed when I get to posting my fanfic. So for now, I'll leave y'all to speculate.
