Description
After spending time in Scotland, I knew I had to make a doll inspired by my experiences there. Luckily I already had a Lorna McNessie in my stock box, though she was in rough shape. Her hands, tail and leg fins were missing; her lips were wiped off, and she was covered in splotches of acrylic paint. So I did have to make do by sculpting new leg fins and giving her Posea Reef hands because they were the next best option I could find when looking for replacement hands on Amazon.

It was fun painting her body and adding details like her belt and her braids that I based off of a stained glass window depicting St. Margaret, that was at her chapel in Edinburgh Castle. In the end I decided to name her Marjorie, after the daughter of Robert the Bruce; because during my stay I read the book 'Girl In a Cage' by Jane Yolen and Robert Harris, which is a novelized retelling of her life.
