So, I recently found out about this E.T. ripoff movie, that everyone says is worse than 'Mac and Me', called 'Nukie'. And... well... this review by Possum Reviews sums it up perfectly: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmuJFT…

It goes without saying that not only is the movie bad, but the designs for the titular Nukie and his brother, Miko, are downright ugly! I knew right then and there that I had to redesign them. After watching some reviews, I went and gathered some reference pictures; when I noticed that both aliens have these massive, protruding ears, it made me think of koalas (I can't get enough of them on Instagram). So, I ran with that idea and gave them koala ears, noses and tufts of fur. I added the teal on Nukie and the purple-navy on Miko to make them a little more ethereal, since they're meant to be creatures that can turn into balls of light. Overall, I did not expect to overhaul their designs entirely and turn them into space-alien Blinkie Bills, but I'm not disappointed with the results. I might see if I can rewrite the movie, but I might do that when I complete my rewrite for Little Princess School. So maybe in the future I'll do that.
