Yay, first drawing for 2023!

For those unfamiliar, The Zodiac Girlz was a group of flash mascots from the 2000's. They were a group of girls based off of the Western Zodiac and were part of a website focusing on the mascots, daily horoscopes and a range of other activities. They even had a short-lived doll line.

In 2006, there was announcement of a TV series based off of the characters, called 'The Zodiacs'. The premise of the show was similar to Sailor Moon in that the girls came from space but were living on Earth as ordinary girls, while fighting evil on the side. The animator was... ugh... the creator of 'Ren and Stimpy' (A.K.A. He who shall not be named). Fortunately, this show never got made, but in this one article talking about it (www.c21media.net/news/teletoon… ), it mentions a would-be villain by the name of Percevil. He was to be the 13th zodiac, seeking revenge after thousands of years of neglect.
Of course, no art of this character exists online, so I took it upon myself to draw what I think he'd look like.

The article mentions that he's 13 years old, but seeing that he's immortal, it seemed a bit of a contradiction so I aged him up. I based his design off of the constellation, Ophiuchus, which is sometimes referred to as the 13th zodiac. Especially since all 12 zodiac girls have their sign's symbol incorporated in each of their designs. I was also going for a 'snakey' look with the dark greens and the slit pupils in his eyes. Funnily enough, while drawing him, my sister said that he looked like a combo of Prince Zuko and Kylo Ren. Yeah, I kinda see it, mostly the Zuko part though. Lol.
