Wow... so much work and it took me just a few moments to upload it. It feels a little anticlimactic. Haha.

Here are the questions to me (the artist) with my responses?

Which one of the team is the most fun to draw?
Probably Spray. I love making round faces and the feathery ears. After him I’d day Canterbury since it’s fun to try and manipulate his fangs and eyes into animated expressions.

Which one of the team is the most difficult to draw?
Again, Spray. His large eyes and grin can look really awkward on his face if I don’t get the shape right. Then it would be Roulette. She can look pretty dopey if I get her muzzle wrong.

What writing pad do you use? (Or, if you don't, how do you draw your comic?)
I started the comic on a wacom graphire. I currently use a Wacom intuos 4, but I am very fond of the small one that I left at home (which still works very well). I draw using corel painter 12. I don’t really plan out the pages, so that’s all that I use. (I rarely even take notes while I play my run, which is irresponsible of me! I hope to do better in the future!)

What would you say you share in common with Aouli?
She is my younger self with a better memory. (I’m very forgetful) We’re both extremely meek and naïve, although I tend have slightly sarcastic humor when I’m with friends. I can’t ride a bike, either!

Y u so good at making these comics?
Ahh! If I were better, then I wouldn’t have left it like this! ;A; But I guess I’ve just practiced a lot. I’ve been making comics (especially of pokemon) since the third grade, in 2001. In middle school, my friend and I made one every single day and passed them to each other to finish. Practice, practice! There are still so many comics I envy orz.

How does it feel to know that your Nuzlocke is adored far and wide? <3<3<3
It- it makes me kind of nervous, actually. I’m afraid I won’t make it up to people’s expectations. >///<;; But at the same time, it makes me really want to make it the best that it can be! There are many things that I’m experimenting with to make it better. Right now I need to figure out how to make it not so cluttered ;; (how do people even read it?)

Why are your Wartortles better than mine? I thought I could draw them OK when I’m doodling, but when I try I mess up.
Well, I’ve never seen your wartortle art, but my guess would be that you make the head too round? Idk. That seems to be a common problem. I know I sometimes make it that way. (But I’m talking about my serious artwork here, my comic style is very simple and is really a doodle. xD;; I’m not very careful since it loses its looseness otherwise)

Why do you handwrite all the text? Wouldn't it be easier just to type it?
I thought it would be, but then I tried it. My art program hates text of any form, and it added extra layers to the picture, made the text blurry when I wanted to compress things, and was too structured for my liking. Plus, I can edit the “font” midsentence, which my program won’t do, either.

Why did you choose to do a Nuzlocke with Leafgreen over all the other games?
Actually, my first comic was in a notebook and took place in my Ruby version. Aouli was sarcastic and had a no-nonsense attitude towards the stupidity of others. Her starter was Reed the treecko, who was lax and never spoke. The comic was a lot of fun, but I didn’t want to have a scanned comic and I didn’t want to kill my first unfinished Nuzlocke. My other games were all holding pokemon for friends, so Leafgreen was the only option. I’m a lot happier with the feel of this one, though.

Has your rule where you can never run from battle ever screwed you over?
Not yet! I’ve managed to get out of the grass every time someone was poisoned. I have a feeling Victory Road will be a nightmare, though. DD:

Are you planning another Nuzlocke? If so, what game?
I would very much like to. My next game would be SoulSilver, which I already started. It won’t be starring Aouli, though. (I’m not even sure if she’ll make an appearance!)

You have such a cute drawing style, is there any specific reason for that?
Strangely, I’ve never considered it to be a “cute style.” I recognize that it’s often cute, but my goal is really just easy, appealing, and overall fun to draw.
