(Creative title, I know!) Yesterday I was watching Guardians of the Galaxy and Footloose at the same time at work, so I started working on this. It was supposed to look cool, but they just ended up looking like NERDS. Still trying to figure out how I want to draw Rocket... Trying to find a good balance between realistic, cartoony, BAMF, cute, GOOD ART and easy to redraw... and of course having good expression. I'll keep drawing till I figure it out. The day we believe we have nothing left to learn is the day we stop being artists.

I am sorry sometimes lately I write practically nothing about my art, I usually upload them awhile after I've drawn them. (Or maybe I am just too embarrassed to talk about it.)
Originally I was going to draw Peter with Rocket here, but I realized after I increased the sketchy anatomy for Rocket to that size and did the line art, there wasn't really enough room left for him.

Towards the end, right before I realize I needed the stereo, (so you can tell they're dancing) my app crashed and I thought I lost all my progress from after line-arting Rocket. (Drawing Groot, coloring and shading, background... ) and I wasn't sure if I would want to do all that again. When I re-opened the app, I must of saved it seconds before it crashed without realizing it so I lucked out.
