I promised to do this, so here you go. I had some screens saved from when I painted Yoda and put them into a little tutorial. It isn't as precise and detailed as my Loki tutorial but I hope that it can still be helpful for some of you. (:I work with Photoshop CS6.

I wanted to be lazy first and leave out the descriptions but then there's not much sense to a tutorial if no one understands what I did in each step. I'm really glad if it helps!

Greyscale is soooo much fun! I've used that quite often now and it helps a lot in getting the contrast and the focus right. Before, I used to have one B/W layer on top of my paintings so that I could always check but... it was much more complicated.

Das mit dem Greyscale hatte ich selber lange Zeit nie so richtig verstanden, aber mittlerweile klappt's echt gut. Das ist so toll, gerade weil ich immer überfordert bin mit der Auswahl an Farben und Values und argh. :'D Und so hat man alles vorbereitet und hübscht es dann nur noch weiter auf. ^^ Versuch's mal! Das hilft ungemein.
