Multipurpose Fighting System Type-3, nicknamed "Kiryu" by G-Force personnel. But the general public knows it simply as "Mechagodzilla".

The Mechagodzilla Project is a top secret operation by G-Force that involves creating a clone of Godzilla, surgically implanting synthetic organs, mechanical skeletal structures, and tiny computers into it while it's still in its fetal stage, and then putting armor and weaponry on it when it gets to a certain stage in development.

Unlike its predecessor, MFS-2, control over Kiryu is limited. It has a tendency of going berserk, causing it to become extremely unpredictable and aggressive (even more than the original Godzilla it was cloned from). The fact that it has an entire arsenal of weaponry at its disposal definitely makes it one of the more dangerous kaiju if it were to go berserk.

Kiryu's "childhood" is kept under extreme secrecy. While it was still in its early stages, it was kept in an enclosure under G-Force HQ. It was only after the mechanical exoskeleton was installed that it was revealed to the public as a completely mechanical kaiju. This was done to keep the fact that G-Force was capable of cloning kaiju a secret.
