  Okay! This was originally going to be a quick experimental drawing to test out a technique where I block in colors with a hard edged brush before locking them to shade- which I hoped would help to avoid the fuzzy quality that's been bugging me in my drawings- but it evolved into a full- if slightly rough- illustration! :'D I nearly finished this in one weekend which is just crazy to me since it used to take me months to finish a big drawing like this! ;v; Granted most of those months were procrastination time but at least it shows something about my dedication!

The colors were really hard in the beginning but some friends helped me track down sufficient references and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. But something I'm really happy with is the background, because environments are one of if not my biggest weakness, and I think this is one of the most detailed backgrounds I've done in these big digital drawings?  Lol usually my backgrounds are shrouded in darkness or are just a shot of the sky so I'm glad I was able to draw the interior of a building and it actually came out how I imagined it?? Whoa

Uhh ANYWAY this is my alien character Rhoden! I really should draw him more, I forgot how much I love him
