Description
The world; it can be filled with dread, something that seems inescapable. It takes its roots and plunges them into its foundation, refusing to release its grip. It disallows anything to notice the true beauty the world provides. The scenery in plain sight is ignored and overshadowed. Life needs its space, to get away from the world and have a different perspective. Only when life frees itself from the feeling of dread will dreadβs grip loosen, and life can pull away.Yeah it's been two weeks since my last submission, but I've been sick in bed, and just lacking in ideas actually. But I'm back so here's a new piece for you guys.
Tools
Photoshop CS2
Terragen 9
If you're wondering how I used Terragen in this one, I just rendered the sky and some water and added that in. The rest is all Photoshop.
Brush Credits

Anyway yeah, hope you guys like it. I'm currently rendering something in C4D so you can look forward to that soon, and I'll probably boot up Terragen again soon also.
Full view is always best, and you can download for a larger version.
Favs, comments and critique always appreciated.

Thank you! And it would be a print, but I can't seem to find the artist for some of the brushes I used. Some people don't like their brushes to be used for commercial use, or they need to be credited before it becomes a print. I'll keep searching and see if I can find the artist before I make it a print.

This is intriguing. At first the white image at the forefront bothered me, but when I looked at the picture more closely I noticed how cool the white tree branches look against the moon.
Also how the trees have leaves within and none without.
The concept is very creative and turned out really cool!

I love this! This might just be my favorite of yours, actually. The idea is very original, and you executed it flawlessly. I also love how the smooth-cutout look of the hill contrasts with most of the other images. Even the posture of the man is perfect! This is completely stellar.
