Last summer I drew this picture for one simple reason: I have loved Troll 2 for the past four years and I never got around to doing a drawing based on the film. I love the crazy, surreal randomness of the events in the film and its warped visual atmosphere. I set out to make a collaged poster layout that mimics the weirdness, the insanity, and the gross visual style of Troll 2 that never ceases to entertain me.

I emailed this image to the folks at bestworstmovie.com to see if they'd be interested in using the design for a shirt to sell. A really kind and business like guy got back to me saying they enjoyed the design and we proceeded to talk over the possibilities of making it a shirt. Long story short, understandably, they had a lot going on to promote the documentary and turning this design into a shirt was unfortunately not at the top of their list. With money tight, the shirt design would have to be set aside.

I myself would have loved to print out the shirt to sell, but without any extra money to print a good quantity myself, the image has basically been on hiatus for the time being. I decided to put it on Deviant Art to see if there are any Troll 2 fans out there. I would love to see some more Troll 2 art myself - we need more of it!
