This took me an ungodly amount of time entirely because of the gODDAMN TEXT which I did by hand because I'm an idiot

This is Carnical. They’re a robotic cat and a clown/jester thing for another OC, Hyacinth. I’ve had both of them for the last three years, but I hadn’t redesigned Carnical in ages, so I decided to do so. I think the end result is good. I like their face. There are some things I would change even now, but I didn’t really think about it until I’d finished the lineart, by which point it was too late. I enjoyed drawing this ref, despite copy/pasting each letter of each word so they'd all match and thus slowly scraping my soul away.
I didn't mention this in the image, but their insides are just foamy stuffing over a metal skeleton.
At some point, I intend to make a different ref for the broken, withered form it takes later in the story.
