Somethings lurking in the water, theres an unusual taste in the air this morning, but Amber couldnt put her paw on it. She felt uneasy looking out at those waves. Something compelled her to look, to stare out into the big blue abysse of water and waves. Just then she thought she saw something, something blue, no not water! It had, spines? A shimmer of gold sparkled in the sunlight, but just as soon as she saw it, it was gone. Amber backed away a litte, narrowing her eyes further.
"Yippers!" She called behind her "Come here!"
The little yellow shiba inu came walking up towards the bigger red merle Australian Shepherd.
"What is it?" He asked
"Look out into the water, I swear I saw something..." Amber motioned with her front fore-leg to the spot where she saw the mystery creature
Yippers looked over but didnt say anything
"Can you even see with that hair in your face?" Amber questioned. The Shibe had light cream fur covering his eyes, he refused to style it any other way
"Yes, now shush!" He demanded, walking closer to the water

The anxiety hung in the air thick like fog, Amber knew Yippers would feel it too. Something was off about this beach and it was their duty to figure out what!
Just then Amber saw flashes of green, blue, even purple sparkling lights in the water
"Did you see that!?" Amber called. Yippers shot back towards the beach before Amber could ask what happened, a giant roaring serpent emerged from the water and landed infront of the dogs.
Amber was too frightened to move, her whole body paralyzed with fear, what was this creature? It had golden space dust, it had to be a Nebulruff for sure, but this was something new, unheard of!

"MY NAME IS LUANA!" The blue serpent bellowed. "I AM THE QUEEN OF THE MERRUFFS! THESE ARE MY FRIENDS," Luana gestured to a Merruff wth gray fur and purple space dust
"Osian,"
she then moved to show a Merruff with orange fur, darker orange stripes and green space dust
"Skiff,"
and finally she wrapped her tail around the other, this one was green-blue with blue space dust, she had a weird effect going on her dust that Amber had never seen of before
"And my dear sweet sister, Alani!"
Luana looked proud of her big entrance, but she noticed the other two Nebulruffs shaking in fear, Yippers was growling at them before he suddenly leaped and unleashed his Noodle dragon from. Luana barked in surprise
"Wait!"
Yippers stopped as the other three, Alani, Osian, and Skiff ran infront of Luana bravely
Luana reverted back to her Merruff form and smiled, wagging her tail
"We just wanted to make a grand entrance! Perhaps a more formal one is in order? My name is Luana, and we would finally like to meet you!"

YES IT IS FINALLY HERE! a brand new Nebulruff form, the Leviathan form! More information will be posted shortly!

along with this new form, is a new sub species, known as Merruffs!
Merruffs are Nebulruffs born in the ocean. Merruffs are most common for having mermaid bodies (think of a seal!) but they can also have canine bodies too! They come with brand new never-before-seen traits along with being able to obtain the older traits Nebulruffs can have!

FOR THIS EVENT YOU CAN:
- Draw your Nebulruff(s) interacting with the Merruff gang
- Draw your Nebulruff(s) enjoying summer fun/ water activities!

each submission for this event will receive a special item, Leviathan artifact!

This artifact allows you to merge it with a MYO ticket to form a Merruff MYO ticket!
(this is to cut down on making a billion different MYO tickets and keep it simple!)

Q: Whats the difference between Merruffs and Nebulruffs?
A: Merruffs have a lot more aquatic traits than nebulruffs, some traits Nebulruffs find rare are more commonly seen in Merruffs! Also Merruffs are required to have gills shown on their necks!

Q: Can any Nebulruff have a Leviathan form or is it exclusive to Merruffs?
A: Any Nebulruff can have a Leviathan form! not just Merruffs! (however it is considered rare for Nebulruffs, but common for Merruffs!)

Q: Can the Leviathan form have four legs?
A: no, this is too similar to the Noodle Dragon form!

Q: Can I make my pre-made Nebulruff into a Merruff?
A: Not at the moment since some traits are more rare or less rare than Nebulruff traits, but it is something very possible in the future!

Q: Can I make my pre-made Merruff into a Nebulruff?
A: Not at the moment since some traits are more rare or less rare than Merruff traits, but it is something very possible in the future!

Q: Can I do writing for this event?
A: yes! minimum word count of 500 words and it needs to use proper grammar (no b4, gr8, 1 l0v3 y0u)

Q: Why are there so few Merruff traits?
A: Its still a work in progress! i am VERY open to trait suggestions!!
