A scene where the enterprise crew's paths are crossed in their days in Starfleet acadamy.Scotty is not in this pic, because, lets just say it got to do with a dog.
Love this scene in the movie:
Kirk: "Doesn't it bother that noone has passed the test?"
Bones: "It's the Kobayashi Maru! NO ONE passed the test!"
Kirk: *Slap on Bones's shoulder* "I gotta study."
Bones: *watch Kirk leave* "Study my ass."
Its amazing how close those two get after their first meeting in the transport ship, keeps me smiling!

I have read one of the Starfleet Academy books and I must say this situation comes pretty close to be perfectness

Yea. It's about his academy time but you also get to read about Uhuras, Spoks or Bones thoughts and point of view. It's pretty interesting and I recomend them but they're kinda' short only 300 pages. I'm thinking of reading the books for the series the deep space:9 ones or the comics to just one of them. what do you think?

Have you read the academy era books? It's awesome because they're all meeting and interacting but Kirk and Spock never cross paths and yet it seems natural and not on purpose at all. This pic is great.

It's amazing how life-long friendships can form. In my case, when I first met one of my best friends, back in junior high, we disliked each other. Immensely. But, over time, we came best friends, starting in high school, and have been friends ever since.

And there's this hyperactive, super quirky Russian freshman who's a tech whiz and the darling of the robotics team. Also he's adorable and I want to squish him. So yeah, he's Chekov.
