This dragon's name is Okavango and he belongs to Ellamina:aprilsilverwolf.deviantart.com…
And he is obsessed with all things blue.
I just thought he was the cutest thing ever so I just HAD to draw him. Here's a gift, sorry if the colours are a bit off.
Okavango is a RainWing that wishes he could be a SeaWing because he loves the ocean-and the colour blue.
In case you can't read the poem, this is what it says:
BLUE:
Blue is the colour
Of all that should be
If I could look into the wild blue yonder
Then blue is what I’d see
The grass I’d paint navy
If the world could change its core
And the leaves would look all wavy
Like the waves crashing upon a blue shore
I’d swim in the depths of a deep blue sea
And I’d be so camouflaged that no one would notice me!
If I could be all that I could be
In a blue world, yes, I’d fare quite happily
And even if the other colours got lonely...
Still I’d choose the ocean as my hue
But if blue made you sad
and if it brought you blue tears of pain
that is a shade of blue i wouldn’t like
I'd give the world back its colours again
because you are more beautiful
you are more true
even more than my favourite colour

I'm a little bit unsure of Waterlily's eye colour, is it red-ish like her sister? And since they're identical twins, do both sisters have exactly the same colour, markings etc? Or are there distinct details between them?

That and I haven't quite decided the eye colour. They're supposed to be identical twins but I was just doing some research on Identical twins and stumbled upon this:

And so I'm thinking that I could put some key differences between them. For example I was thinking that Waterlily could have a little more RainWing genes in her, so that perhaps she can change her eye colour, but only slightly so that it's not often obvious to others, and I was thinking that Iceblink can breathe frostbreath but her sister can't, something that they both don't even know about themselves or each other until they go to the hybrid school and have tests done on them.
In my head Waterlily has always been a little more pinkish in hue, whereas I've always imagined Iceblink to be more harsh. They should generally look similar enough that you can get them mixed up, but there can be small differences that someone who knew them extremely well could tell them apart with. If I do go with the idea where Waterlily has slightly more RainWing genes, then I think her eyes are best as a very silvery light pink most of the time, that can turn into a pale grayish if she's sad. Her eyes are more pale than Iceblink's, Iceblink's eyes can be reflective too, but they're usually a bit darker.
Since I haven't really got my mind made up yet in terms of where I want to take the story, it doesn't really matter what colour they are. They can be any version of pink, to silvery blue, to dark blue and red and they would still represent themselves, whichever of these colours you chose. Sorry for the confusion. I'm half confused myself cause it's still in the making

Yeah they should have the same markings. For eye colour I was kind of going for reflective eyes, so technically they could be any color of their surroundings. There is some pink hue that can be red at times or pink depending on the lighting. So you kind of get to choose in terms of the mood your setting
