This is a drawing I created for Marit and Paige after Marit died. This is for Paige, her best friend. I hope to bring it to the funeral tomorrow. Unfortunately it couldn't be very fancy because I only had one night to do it and I ran out of time. Plus I was having some issues with Photoshop...as usual. Marit is the pale one, and Paige is the black one. Rest in peace Marit. Seriously one of the most tragic things I've ever seen. Two inseparable friends being separated. Friends that loved each other, with dedicated loyalty for 11 years. And I think of all the times I lost my best friends, because none of mine could ever last, the other side's loyalty always dying and fading from my life as I tried desperately to keep them. And how many times I've had to watch the people I loved most walk away. Only Marit never walked away, Marit didn't have a choice. She stayed loyal to the end, and it breaks my heart to see such a deeply rooted friendship, a friendship I always admired and was jealous of, a kind of friendship I always longed for, the number one thing I always wanted most in life and could never keep. But if love never fails, I know separation is not an option. Marit will just as loyally wait for Paige in heaven and Paige will just as loyally endure until they meet again, and nothing shall ever come between them again. Because this love is stronger than death, I know it.
