Description
So this is the ceiling tile I made when I was in grade 11 or 2010-2011. I didn't actually get to keep it until now because they put it on the ceiling with all the other painted ceiling tiles and kept it up there. I finally went up to them the last day of school telling them I wanted to take it home, so they got a ladder and gave it to me. So yeah, I've been waiting to take it home for FOREVER.

This was the project where we had to take a guy and use his style to create our own picture, and then add something into the picture as well. At the moment I can't remember which guy I chose but he drew a lot of space and dinosaur pictures using acrylic paint, so I chose a space scene.

A reference was used for the background (with the light at the top) but the planets and wolf didn't come with a reference and I just created the colours on the spot. The rings are a little deformed at the bottom but oh well.

The hardest part was the light at the top, getting it to blend properly with the rest of the background, it took me the longest out of anything else on this piece. I added a wolf in it because we had to add something to the picture of our own, something that kind of represented or described us and the teacher right off the bat told me I should do a wolf because yeah...she knows I'm obsessed with them. So anyway, I did a ghost wolf running through space.

I think the picture is quite symbolic too, I created it to be. But it was so long ago I can't quite but a finger on it so I'll have to figure it out later.
