Description
A commissioned character. I was to design her by taking ideas from the races of Viera (Final Fantasy series) and Gerudo (Zelda series), and this is what came out
It's a bit bigger than usual; any smaller, and what few details that are visible now would be lost like the rest of 'em

I really dig the adaptation of the two races! Myself, I'm especially partial to the viera race, simply because they're just plain, sweet rabbity hotness. 
Anyway, the face looks really, really great, especially the eyes, and I love the hair and the way it flows like that. The way you did the ears as feathery wings is a really nice touch too. You used some really nice lighting in this...the shadow of the hand on her leg is cool. I also like the way that staff is designed...the way the globe and the actual stave part are seperated. I can't help but think that the staff might toss a little blue light on her though.
But, I really like this. Who says the search feature is worthless?

The fade-out of the back leg went nicely with the background. I'm actually glad that you didn't put her in some landscape or something like that... this simple background really shows off the character.

What technique do you use in photoshop to get this effect? I have the same version, but I can't get it to look like this....did it take you very long?

The original is A4 size, 300 dpi... about 3000+ pixels wide I think?

Wow!! She's so cool! ^0^ I love your lighting. The inside of her upper leg looks a little flat. It works on the lower part, but so much on the top part. I really like the colors and he rlittle antennae fuzzy things. X3 Very cute character design. ^^

Thank you! X3 Hahaha~ Yes, I noticed that the upper leg is a bit whacked~ The reason for this is that I changed the background color at the last minute, and remembed to alter the colors on the lower leg.. but not on the upper one
