done!!!!!my last deviation for ther year 2010!!!!this is my friend jairo souza from brazil...and my 3rd(?) from eyes luk urs series...

since the title is about eyes i made his eyes with colors..so this is more on mixed media..i run out of my sharpened eraser so i used white paints for his messy hair....
tools:
vellum cartolina
colleen/staedtler pencils
pentel water color for the eye
white acrylic for the hair

I really love this piece. I must have been a challenge to draw something with such obscure lighting, but that's what I love about it. "Perfect" lighting in portraits is just too simple. This has more harsh lights and shadows, and you executed them beautifully. The coloured eye also gives it that extra touch. Well done, keep up the good work

how difficult was it useing white acrylic for the hair? cause this is the first time ive seen it being used this way.

ah really difficult..i used this brush with really thin end..soaked it into water then with the paint and stroked it into the paper
