done!!!!!my last deviation for ther year 2010!!!!this is my friend jairo souza from brazil...and my 3rd(?) from eyes luk urs series...

since the title is about eyes i made his eyes with colors..so this is more on mixed media..i run out of my sharpened eraser so i used white paints for his messy hair....

vellum cartolina
colleen/staedtler pencils
pentel water color for the eye
white acrylic for the hair

This is really great, everything about this picture jumps at you. The movement is lovely, the shading really is just...wow. I'm no good at realistic drawing, but I'm especially bad at drawing shadows on faces that come from hair and this picture just made me really jealous....

that was 2001..i started to collect pictures of realistic looking drawings and stare at them for hours like studying them

My, it looks exactly like a photo! You've got the shadows so well captured it really looks like a 3D ^^'. And that hair looks like a lot of trouble to draw, I mean... so many... tiny... hair... O.O
